# Referrals

<figure><img src="/files/DVrPdLkds9qMVdRJjfZF" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Invite friends to Packflip and earn XP every time they open a pack or buyback — automatically, with no cap.

## How it works

1. Find your unique referral link in referral tab
2. Share it with friends
3. When your friend earns XP through pack opens or buybacks — you receive **10% of their base XP**

Referral XP need to be claimed. It continues indefinitely as long as they keep using Packflip.

## Referral XP example

```
Your friend opens an Expert Pack ($20)
→ Friend earns: 2,000 base XP
→ You receive:    200 XP (10% of base)
```

Your friend's multipliers (campaign bonuses, level) do **not** affect how much you receive — referral XP is always 10% of base XP only.

## Rules

| Rule             | Detail                                                        |
| ---------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Depth | 1 level only — you do not earn from your referral's referrals |
| Cap | None — no limit on referral XP |
| Eligible actions | Pack opens and buybacks only (not quests, streaks, or bonus) |
| Duration | Continuous — earns as long as the referred user is active |

## Why referrals matter

Referral XP accumulates just like any other XP. An active referral network can generate thousands of XP per week passively — compounding your share of future Packflip incentives over the campaign period.
