# What is Packflip

Packflip is a digital pack platform where you open packs, hold and trade cards on-chain, buyback for points, or redeem them physically.

Every pack you open on Packflip corresponds to a real physical card that you can redeem to your door at any time.

## Why Packflip?

Traditional card collecting comes with friction: high marketplace fees, limited buyers, shipping risks, and no verifiable provenance. Packflip solves them all.

### On-chain liquidity

Your cards are represented as on-chain assets on Packflip, making them accessible to a global market without the need to physically move a single card. When a trade settles, it settles on-chain instantly, and borderless.

### Transparency

Every pack opening and card ownership record is stored on-chain. Provenance is verifiable by anyone, forever.

### Real cards, real redemption

Unlike purely digital collectibles, every Packflip card is backed by a real physical card. Redeem any card to your address at any time — worldwide.

### Earn while you collect

Every pack you open earns **Packflip XP** — which unlocks future incentives on Packflip. The earlier you start, the more you earn.

### Multi-chain

Packflip runs on multi-chain, currently on **Soneium** and **Monad**, giving you flexibility in how you transact.

## Supported card IPs

We support a growing range of trading card IPs. See the [Packs](/packflip-docs/how-to-use/packs.md) page for the current lineup.
